Premiere Pro - File Management and Why It's Better Than iMovie Already

I really like easy programs. But every so often it's better to have a bit of complexity in the beginning but so much less complexity eventually. iMovie vs. Premiere Pro is one of those examples (and mind you I cannot discuss Final Cut as I have never used it).
Now, Premiere is one of the two world-leading video editing programs out there. And it's not cheap. But it is what I am using, and it's what I know best. And it is super powerful once you have the basics down. Today's focus is file management:
Premiere offers many things you can do in that arena. You can import your footage, and it stays where you have put it first. You can color the files with labels, making them distinguishable in the timeline, and you can also create folders inside the project manager.
Moreover, the big difference to a program like iMovie: you can relink the files once you moved them. This is a big one if you handle loads of files and many projects. With iMovie you are kinds bound to the local library.
