Rode PSA1 VS Auray BAI-2N Studio Boom Arm Comparison / Review
Today, I have a studio boom arm (desktop mic stand) comparison in the Audio Hotline Studio! We have the RØDE PSA1 going up against the Auray BAI-2N. These two boom arms are quite similar! In fact, I would say that Auray go the design idea from the Røde PSA1. They both have internal springs, so they have a very sleek looks... unlike the Neewer boom arms. These two are the same price, but cost is always subject to change! Auray took what was good about the Røde PSA1 and then tried to improve on it in their own way. There are of course Pros and Cons to each of these product. So your job is to figure out which one is right FOR YOU!
In this video I take you through all of the features, the accessories, and go over the good and the bad. It is a bit hard to "test" Boom arms out, but I do my best with some weight tests and overall durability testing.
