How to cut a clay drain pipe
Cutting a 4" ID clay septic drain pipe in order to replace 4" cast iron drain pipes with ABS. The new ABS will connect to the clay pipe with a 4x4" clay-to-plastic Fernco coupling. Be sure to wear protective eyewear and a breathing mask in case of flying chipped pieces and the inevitable orange dust cloud of grinded clay!
