TL;DR - 1000km off a stargate, with the undock inline with both that gate and another (conjunct)
Basically, you will need a character with either the "station manager" role (station services not general role), or a director, or a CEO.
that allows you to 'launch for corporation' and not just 'jettison' the upwell structure.
The upwell's volume is usually 8000m³ and you don't need anything else beyond that for the first 24hrs.
btw, when it says "1000km+ or 5000m+" away from the offending object, that means beyond it's 90km diameter docking ring shown by the flashy green light circle.
There is a loophole where you can instantly transfer a structure after it's anchored/fit to a corp/alliance in a war (and transfer out? i dunno about that)
adjusting the x & y axis is easy enough...and btw, i'm a frickin idiot cuz i was calling the z-axis the "y axis" (yeah, i'm a retard. lol)...like i said i hate math...and geometry.
Anyways, adjusting the 'z-axis' means you have to physically move your spaceship up or down (the upwell will follow along)
hopefully i covered everything there was to do about the 'basics' of anchoring upwells, in the video.
Athanors are alot different in function and hardly no chance for aesthetics except by accident - when placed for moon mining purposes (I believe i made a video a while back talking about where to place it in relation to the mining beacon) - but, there are opportunities for aesthetic reasons if one starts thinking about placing them outside that parameter.
Raitarus can definitely be placed for aesthetic reasons.
