I would love to answer a couple of questions around test automation
What makes me qualified to do so?
I'm on a journey of upskilling myself from manual tester to an automation tester
And have had the required exposure now and knowledge to hopefully contribute to the
answers out there on these questions around test automation
Question: Which is the best language to learn test automation 2019
I would say pick any
Why do I say this? Because you require do not require deep understanding of a programming language in order to learn test automation or the workings of a test automation tool
Pick any automation tool and go with any programming language
If you want to go down the route of a popular language right now it's Python followed by Java
This will put you in a good position to find or go for jobs where these languages are a requirement, as there are popular so will be the need for those with such skills set
Your automation tool of choice could be selenium webdriver as it supports all of the major programming languages such as python, Java, Perl, C#. C++, Ruby...or Katalon Studio, UFT or some of the new code less scripting test automation tools now on the market
Popular and easy to learn programming as per information out there is Python so there you go that is your answer but do research this again for yourself
