The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi, conducted a Scientific Proposal Development and Quality Enhancement Workshop on 18–19 January 2023 for researchers across India.
The workshop focused on capacity building in biomedical research, equipping participants with tools and methodologies for:
Developing high-quality research proposals
Strengthening study design and methodology
Ensuring adherence to ICMR’s ethical and scientific standards
Enhancing the overall quality of research outputs in line with national health priorities
As India’s apex body for biomedical research, ICMR regularly organises such programs to mentor early-career researchers, improve grant applications, and ensure that funded projects are aligned with the nation’s healthcare needs.
