If you're looking for a free tool that offers tons of templates for many genres commonly used and taught in the college classroom, Canva is for you! It's a great tool for creating graphics for teaching situations like online, hybrid, and face to face classes.
I've mentioned Canva in a lot of videos, some of which I link below. It's a great tool for creating different types of graphics and multimodal genres. Need to create an infographic to make your course material more engaging? Use a template from Canva to speed up the process. Or, have students create their own infographics on topics they are researching and learning about in your classroom.
Teaching the genre of the resume? Need ideas for creating checklists, calendar, social media posts, etc? Canva has it all.
