Hello everyone. Today I'll show you how to set up a "sliding dropshot" spinning rig.
This rig has a huge number of advantages, and in some situations, it's simply unmatched.
The setup is very simple: tie a fluorocarbon leader to the main line, secure the knot with a stopper, thread the hook with the bait, add another stopper, and tie a sinker to the end.
We can adjust the height of the bait with the lower stopper, and with the upper stopper, we can make a fixed setup. Adding a heavier sinker increases the chance of making longer casts.
