Abstract:
In this session we will start off by talking about basics of Cloud Computing, and how it is different w.r.t on-premise infrastructure and shall quickly move on to AWS and explore how you can get started with few of the core services, like Compute and Storage on AWS. The session would also touch on few of the advance topics like serverless computing and machine learning with some hands on demo, which with give you an intuition on how any developer can make use of these technology stack to build applications at scale.

Speakers of the session:
Suman Debnath is a Principal Developer Advocate at Amazon Web Services based in India. He is passionate about Data Analytics, Machine Learning and Deep Learning. Prior to joining AWS, he worked at various enterprise organisations where he worked with System and Performance Engineering teams, focusing on storage protocols, performance benchmarking and tool development.
Rohini Gaonkar is a Sr. Developer Advocate at Amazon Web Services (AISPL), where she is passionate to share her experiences on building architectures with best practices, and help strengthen builders of tomorrow.
Rohini brings over a decade of experience in IT industry, primarily focusing on Cloud Computing technologies. With AWS since January 2014, she has worked on multiple roles including being a Solutions Architect (SA) in ASEAN & India. As a SA she has focused on the needs of cloud native customers, and she has been leading conversations with businesses of all industries and sizes on innovation, as they deploy critical workloads onto the cloud.
