In augustus 2003 stond het water in de Nederlandse rivieren zo laag, dat de woonboten schots en scheef aan de kade lagen.
Dutch River Waal is a major river which serves as the main waterway connecting Rotterdam harbor and the Ruhrgebiet in Germany. It is the main distributary branch of river Rhine, the river carries 65% of the total flow of the Rhine.
