2002 Summer Tournament Final (Second Leg) / Real San Luis vs. Tigrillos
On May 19th, the Alfonso Lastras Stadium was packed to capacity to witness one of the most epic stories in Potosí football history, a comeback victory that seemed impossible.
The match: Although the visiting team had several opportunities to increase their chances of winning the title, they failed to capitalize. With two of their players sent off, Real San Luis took advantage, scoring the first goal through Marcelo de Faria. Moctezuma Serrato added the second, and Carlos Sánchez leveled the aggregate score at the end of regulation time.
With the aggregate score tied at the end of regulation time, the match went to extra time. Moctezuma Serrato scored the golden goal, giving the Potosí team the championship (5-4 on aggregate).
