I wish someone taught me earlier. One of the greatest tips for realism in your VFX scenes is using HDRI maps from shooting locations. Finished shooting? Take photos and create HDRI map to recreate lights in the post. In this video, I show how to do it properly and explain why the quality of the HDRI map matters a lot.
