This tutorial will show you how to access the new Composition Presets in Adobe After Effects CC 2023 to make it easier to find the most commonly used presets and new sizes for social media.

How To Access Composition Presets in After Effects CC 2023
1. Open After Effects
2. Create A New Composition (Cmd/Ctrl + N)
3. Click on the drop-down menu next to ‘Preset’
4. The HD Presets are at the top (1920 x 1080)
5. Then the new UHD Presets (4K, 8K)
6. Below are the new Social Media Channel Presets (Portrait, Landscape, Square)
7. Select any preset
8. Modify the settings
9. Click OK
How To Save Custom Composition Presets in After Effects CC 2023
1. Open After Effects
2. Create A New Composition (Cmd/Ctrl + N)
3. Click on the drop-down menu next to ‘Preset’
4. Select any preset
5. Modify the settings
6. Click on the folded paper icon next to the drop-down menu
7. Enter a name for custom preset
8. Click OK to Save Custom Preset
9. Select custom preset from the drop-down menu to apply to any new Composition
