7.0 Magnitude Earthquake in Turkey and Greece caused devastation and tsunamis! Natural disasters
Cataclysms in October 30! A magnitude 7.0 earthquake between Greece and Turkey caused casualties and destruction.
A strong earthquake in Turkish Izmir collapsed at least 20 buildings. The authorities of Turkey and Greece announced the death of at least 26 people.
24 people died in the coastal areas of western Turkey. 2 more earthquake victims have been confirmed on the Greek island of Samos.
In Turkey, 804 casualties are reported, 5 people were sent to operations, 8 are in intensive care.
After the earthquake, 196 aftershocks were recorded, 23 of which reached a magnitude of 4.0. Search and rescue operations are still underway in 17 buildings, 4 of them are completely destroyed.
Flooding occurred in the coastal parts of the Izmir silt, as well as on the Greek island of Samos. Residential areas were more damaged by the force of the water from the tsunami than by the earthquake.
