A key component of any robust Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) program is planning the development and release of Installation Work Packages (IWPs). It is primarily recognized as a Workface Planning process that typically starts after Construction Work Packages (CWPs) have been released to construction. Beside its value in the scoping, defining, and sequencing of IWPs, IWP Development & Release Planning also serves as an important constraint identification and management tool.
