#05 Bronze head with gold foil 圆顶金面铜人像
Covered with gold foil, the bronze head looks dignified and extraordinary. Its round head is decorated with hairpin bundle style, and its long face and wide chin were all covered by a layer of gold foil. Gold was recognized as a symbol of status in ancient Shu civilization. Among more than 50 bronze heads unearthed before 2021, only 4 of them wore gold masks, which were all discovered in No.2 sacrifice pit. This gorgeous bronze head with gold foil was one of them. It can be seen that it is rather precious.

圆顶笄发，长脸宽颐，面部贴有一层金箔，这一件圆顶金面铜人头像可谓是尊严高贵，气宇不凡。古蜀以金为尊，在2021年以前出土的50余件青铜人头像中，戴金面罩者仅有4件，均出土于2号祭祀坑，圆顶金面铜人头像就是其中一件，可见其珍贵。
