Can an Early 2015 MacBook Air Still Be Good in 2023? Stick with Me to Find Out!
In this video, we're going to test out an Early 2015 MacBook Air to see if it's still a viable option in 2023. With Mac OS Ventura 13.0.1 installed using OpenCore Legacy Patcher version 5.2 and 8GB of RAM, along with a dual-core i5 processor, these specs were pretty decent for the time.
First up, we're going to test Google Chrome to see how quickly this computer can perform basic searches. As you can see in the video, the results were pretty fast.
Next, we'll be testing the streaming capability of this computer. We loaded up one of our videos on YouTube at 1080p, and the playback was pretty decent. We also tested the internal graphics card by maximizing and minimizing the video during playback, which is a great way to check for lag or hesitation. There was a little bit of lag, but nothing too extreme.
Lastly, we tested out the sound on the computer, and it worked perfectly fine.
Overall, while the Early 2015 MacBook Air may not be the most powerful option available today, it still holds up reasonably well and is a viable option for basic usage. Thanks for watching, and don't forget to like and subscribe for more content!
