Hey everyone, I hope you are doing great as we get past the mid-week and one step closer towards the weekend. I've undergone a bit of a studio clean up and you may find the audio quality a touch better than normal.
Today we are going to take a look at the unison section in omnisphere. This is a very quick way of thickening up your sound. Whether you want to add more depth to the bottom end or a little girth to the top end, this is the area you need to go to.
I will take you through what each section does whilst playing so you get the full effect. Unison is a nice tool in sound design to add a little bit of nostalgia and retro vibe. There are a couple of controls that are only available when using synth waveforms. These can be used to add a more analog nuance to your sound so that it will gently drift in and out of tune.
