I want to point out that preparation is the most important thing when it comes to painting! If the preparation sucks, the paint job will also be a disaster.
As for the preparation, I sanded the car with P240 and applied plastic prime for the plastic and epoxy primer for the sheet metal, then I applied two coats of high-build primer!
The high-build primer creates a build that then needs to be sanded and leveled.
This was the preparation.
Painting
Painting is actually very simple.
With a full hand of paint on the substrate, we move away a bit and apply the hard work!
The base, or rather, the color, is what we see under the clear coat!
We let the base dry in water for 10 minutes, then we apply two coats of clear coat with a 5-minute flash-off time between coats.
The process is finished and the car is perfect.
