If the projection is unknown, follow this method. Yes, it takes more time, but it requires no special knowledge.

🔹 Step-by-Step Instructions
⏱ Step 1: Preparing the DXF Drawing
0:00 – Export the required polylines to a new DXF file.
0:25 – Explode and reconnect objects so that the base line becomes the first polyline in the file.
⏱ Step 2: Identifying Reference Points
0:55 – Choose two key vertices on the base line/alignment (widely spaced and with known locations).
1:10 – Find the first point’s coordinates in Google Maps.
1:27 – Enter the coordinates into the table.
1:55 – Find the second reference point and repeat the process.
⏱ Step 3: Converting DXF to GPX
2:06 – Upload the DXF file to the application.
2:17 – Enter the coordinates of the reference points.
2:30 – Specify the approximate terrain elevation (e.g., 150 m).
2:34 – Check the delta (it should be less than 1 m).
2:41 – Adjust coordinates if necessary (changing the sixth decimal place ≈ 10 cm).
⏱ Step 4: Final Export
2:48 – Recalculate; the application will generate a GPX file in the Download folder.
2:59 – Verify the GPX file in Google Earth.
2:41 - When clicking Calc DXF, the application automatically compares distances between the DXF file coordinates and Google Maps coordinates. The delta should be less than 1 meter. Since achieving this precisely on the first attempt is difficult, you can manually adjust point coordinates. (Changing the sixth decimal place alters the distance by approximately 4 inches.)
2:48 – Once the delta is below 1 meter, click Calc DXF again. The application will then display the stationing and offset to the baseline. The GPX file will automatically be saved in the Download folder.
