Kehinde Andrews is a British academic and author specialising in Black Studies. He is Professor of Black Studies in the School of Social Sciences at Birmingham City University led the establishment of the first Black Studies programme in Europe. He is founder of the Harambee Organisation of Black Unity, and co-chair of the UK Black Studies Association.
His books include The New Age of Empire: How Racism Still Rules the world (2021) Back to Black: Retelling Black Radicalism for the 21st Century (2018) and Resisting Racism: Race, Inequality and the Black Supplementary School Movement (2013). His recent book, The Psychosis of Whiteness: Surviving the Insanity of a Racist World, is described as ‘a rational takedown of the myths that uphold white supremacy, and systems and people that promote it across our society’.
