As you can see, sharpening your Electrocoup blades is very easy; just follow the steps explained in the video to achieve a perfect edge.
How to sharpen the titanium blades of your Electrocoup pruning shears?
With the electric sharpener, you can achieve a perfect edge. It's very convenient because you can plug it directly into your Electrocoup's battery.
We'll use the sharpener with the thimble-type sanding disc, as in our experience, it's the most effective.
Place the thimble in its rubber holder, mount it on the machine, and use the wrench included in the box to tighten it so it doesn't move while you're sharpening. Connect the shears' cable to the sharpening machine, and you're all set to sharpen your Electrocoup blades.
Tips for sharpening the blades:
Hold the machine firmly against your chest.
Maintain a 45º angle, which is its default angle.
Sharpen the blade along its entire length.
You'll see that the blade is now ready for pruning without any problems.
You also need to sharpen the inner curve of the shank or tap. For this, we'll also use the thimble-type sandpaper, making sure not to leave any burrs or uneven areas.
