Magnificent Majestic Micrathenas - Part 3
This episode introduces a new spined-orbweaver different than the three Micrathena spider species. It's called the Spinybacked Orbweaver and is a beauty (Gasteracantha cancriformis)! Some think it looks like Super Mario Brothers evil spiked Bowser character! This spider, unlike the Macrathenas, is found in tropical areas, so I'm off to Florida to hunt this colorful, crab-like and unique spider.
