Get started using winbox and doing factory resets. Forget that nasty steep learning curve most videos drag you through. Just copy & paste simple commands. Router switch reset: to factory default configuration:
1. remove gateway (bottom) cable from eth1 (jack nearest to power connector)
2. hold reset switch and plug router power back in, hold until bottom LED starts to flash
3. Log in and say OK to the factory default configuration
4. make sure the firewall is present.
