How to easily and safely measure the 230V voltage of a power outlet with a digital oscilloscope? In this video, I show you how to use the Micsig STO1004 oscilloscope and a DPO10013 differential probe to measure the 230V mains voltage present at the terminals of a power outlet.
I also explain the features that allow you to use the measurements displayed by the digital oscilloscope, such as the effective voltage, average value, maximum value, frequency, and signal period.
