Vienna to Bucharest on the CFR night train.
19 hours in a two-berth sleeper compartment through the Carpathian Mountains. By "chance," we even had a shower and toilet in the compartment. What we didn't have was a dining car. Did we still manage to figure out the price of beer? You'll see in this video.

We were just passing through Vienna, but we had a little time and used it to try out one of your recommendations: Gleis//Garten. It's a food market with a variety of food stalls and its own brewery. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was great. Thanks for the recommendation! And then we even met two of our fellow passengers. A really lovely encounter. We couldn't have spent our "waiting time" any better.

Unfortunately, we were only in Bucharest for a few hours. Then we continued our journey to Chisinau by night train. If you thought the night train from Vienna to Bucharest looked nostalgic, you should check out our next leg to Moldova: • Mit dem Nachtzug nach Moldawien: Zeitreise...
