Beeswax Soap Making/Cold Process Soap
Hello! Today we'll be making everyone's favorite soap from scratch, using the cold process method, with BEESWAX. This soap can be used on both the face and body. It's especially recommended for dry skin, as the beeswax and oils we use in this recipe provide excellent hydration and protection from harsh environmental conditions.
** RECIPE **
Water to oil ratio - 33%
Superfat (free fat) - 7%
Coconut oil - 850 g (28%)
Olive oil - 800 g (27%)
Palm oil - 590 g (20%)
Castor oil - 350 g (12%)
Sunflower oil - 200 g (7%)
Shea butter - 150 g (5%)
Beeswax - 50 g (2%)
NaOH alkali - 428.83 g (410.83 g for oils + 18 g for citric acid)
Water - 986.7 g
Citric acid - 30 g
Ground cinnamon - 2 tbsp
Ground ginger - 2 tbsp
Cocoa powder - 3 tbsp
