Oil painting with 3 colors
In this painting, I use only three paints: madder lake, blue, and brown (white is not included). In this particular scene, these colors are sufficient to convey the flavor of this particular winter landscape. With just three paints (with white), you can achieve hundreds of subtle shades. These are the foundation of the work. Oil painting. Primed paper.
