The first time you play The Quarry, it may seem mysterious because there are significant plot choices, hidden secrets, and difficult puzzles. Decisions are being made so quickly that it's impossible to not wonder what you missed.
There are 40 clues hidden around the several acres of Hackett's Quarry Summer Camp in The Quarry. These indications provided insight into the history of the Freakshow Fire, the Hackett family, and the summer camp.
▶️Get to Hackett’s Summer Camp Plot:
The night before the camp's opening on June 24 and 25, 2021, new counselors Laura and Max at Hackett's Quarry Summer Camp drive down the camp's route to see all it has to offer. In an effort to avoid colliding with an unknown creature that suddenly appeared on the road, the two veer off the road and crash into the woods. They are found there by Travis, the county sheriff in question, who appears unhappy about their situation. After learning that Laura and Max are going to Hackett's Quarry, Travis orders them to spend the night in a motel adjacent to the camp, but the two decide to go there anyhow.
When Laura and Max get at the camp, they find no one there. The pair is getting ready to leave when Laura notices someone inside the bunker. Max is attacked as the two go down the basement, where they think they need help. Travis calms Laura down before firing at the monster in the cellar once he arrives at the camp.
Hackett's Quarry was established in 1953 near Hackett Woods and the village of North Kill in upstate New York. The camp's establishment and name were perhaps inspired by Septimus Hackett, a possible ancestor of Chris Hackett, the present manager and owner.
Before the game began, six teenagers found a body in the adjacent woods; one of them observed that "the smell was nice, but in a dreadful manner." The police were called, but when they arrived there was no indication of the body and it had disappeared.
The Quarry, an interactive drama survival horror adventure game being created by Supermassive Games and published by 2K Games, will be out on June 10, 2022 for the Playstation 4, Playstation 5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox XS. It is the eponymous spiritual successor to the popular and successful horror game Until Dawn from 2015.
