Inka Mero is the Chairwoman and one of the first investors of IndoorAtlas, the Oulu and Silicon Valley -based company providing a revolutionary and infrastructure free magnetic indoor positioning service. On September 2014 IndoorAtlas announced a $10 Series A investment from Baidu, China's biggest search and world's largest map company. As a founder and chairwoman of KoppiCatch seed investor and accelerator company, Inka is deeply passionate about building growth companies, which have their roots in disruptive technology and business innovation. During her career Inka as an pioneer female entrepreneur and investor has founded and/or invested in 30+ growth companies in industries as diverse as telecom, internet, e-commerce, media, media tech, mobile and telecom. She is an active member of the Nordic and Baltic startup scene, the ex -Head Coach of Startup Sauna accelerator, Board Member of Nokian Tyres Plc and a Board member the non-profit organisation Startup Sauna Foundation.

In 2015, Slush brought together 15.000 attendees, including 1.700 startups, 800 venture capital investors and 630 journalists from exactly 100 countries. People from more than half of the world’s countries traveled to the cold and dark Helsinki, with the ambition of taking their business to the next level.
Slush is a non-profit event organized by a community of entrepreneurs, investors, students and festival organizers. Although Slush has grown from a 300-person event to become one of the leading events of its kind in the world, the philosophy behind it has remained the same: to help the next generation of great, world-conquering companies forward.
