In July 2023, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing and filming Rachel & Michael's wedding at the simply stunning Preston Hall, just outside of Edinburgh. After an amazing ceremony at the historic Crichton Collegiate Church, they enjoyed a fun and emotional day with all of their family and friends, before a night of Ceilidh and more dancing.

So, a little about me! My name is Joe Hall and I am relaxed documentary style wedding and elopement photographer and videographer from the UK. I grew up in Sheffield, however I have spent most of my time travelling around the UK for weddings, more specifically Scotland. My focus is around providing a relaxed and authentic coverage for your special day - trying to capture the day as it unfold in the most natural way possible - giving you those timeless photos to treasure for a lifetime. I absolutely LOVE capturing raw emotion, whether that be your family members crying as you say your vows, or you and your partner contagiously smiling at each other during your couple session.
