RIAÑO - A TOWN WITH 470 INHABITANTS - PICOS DE EUROPA SPAIN
On our trip to Picos de Europa National Park, we chose the town of Riano as our base. It has 470 inhabitants and is located 1 hour and 20 minutes from one of the park entrances and the Lakes of Covadonga. The town looks like something out of a movie and boasts incredible scenery! Even though it's a small town, it offers several activities, such as:
1 - Watch the sunset from the Riano swing;
2 - Pico Gildo Trail (4 hours);
3 - Las Biescas Viewpoint (1 hour and 30 minutes);
4 - La Vieja del Monte Cave (1 hour); and
5 - Visit the Quintanilla Chapel.
