The Buttermere Fells and Burtness Comb
A short phone video from yesterday near Buttermere in the Lake District. Avoiding the crowds and heading out from Gatesgarth to the beautiful and isolated Burtness Comb, and the scramble up the side of Grey Crag (hence the heavy breathing) to the summit of High Stile (807m). Views around to the Ennerdale Valley from High Crag (744m). Great views back down to Buttermere from the ascent of Hay Stacks, and then looking straight down the valley before my ascent to Fleetwith Pike.
