SRAM Road | How to: Remove a Rear Wheel with Cage Lock
Cage Lock makes removing your rear wheel a breeze. Should you need to remove your rear wheel for transport or repair, learn how to use Cage Lock:
1. Shift into the smallest cassette cog.
2. Push the cage forward to create slack in the chain.
3. Lock the cage into place by pressing the lock button.
4. Pull the rear derailleur backward and remove the wheel.
