How to Root Android and Install Lineage OS | Android Forensics 7

Hello internet, It's Matt from Forensics with Matt. In today's video I will be discussing how I was able to root and install LineageOS onto my Google Pixel 8. The process was very simple. It is as follows.
Enable Developer Options by hitting Build Number 7 times.
Enable OEM Unlocking and USB Debugging in the developer options.
Reboot to bootloader and issue the command "fastboot flashing unlock".
Set up the phone again and move on to the next step.
(Re-lock the bootloader if you want to.)
install Magisk from the github repo and also install a root checker
Open the Root Checker app and grant it Root permission.
Congratulations, yoou are now rooted.
