WHY SHOULD I START IN A SEASON SERVER? | NEW PLAYER GUIDE PART 1
These are special servers designed for players new to the game or returning after a long break, offering super-fast progression (leveling) and equipment crafting. Progress can be made in weeks on regular servers, something that would take months on regular servers.
What's the Logic of a Season?
Start from Scratch: During a season, you can play with a new character you've designated as a "Season Character." Everyone starts equally.
Boosted Progress: Buffs like a constant increase in experience points (EXP) are active. This allows you to level up very quickly.
Special and Easy Equipment (Naru and Tuvala):
Normally, dropping and upgrading boss equipment is difficult. During a season, you'll receive special Naru and then Tuvala sets.
Upgrading these sets is MUCH easier than regular equipment.
A top-tier (PEN) Tuvala set is equivalent to one level lower (TET) than the best boss equipment on regular servers. This means you'll have a very powerful character at the end of the season.
Season Pass (like the Battle Pass): This system grants you valuable rewards (inventory expansions, costumes, pets, etc.) as you complete specific tasks.
Graduation: When the season ends, your character and equipment are transferred to the regular server. This way, you can continue the game with a strong, mid- to upper-tier character, rather than a weak one.
In short, the Season Server is a great system that allows you to overcome BDO's infamous "grind" barrier and get off to a rocket-start.
