Can You Upgrade Pamela's New Workout Firmware with a Raspberry Pi?

I was curious if the Linux firmware upgrade instructions for Pam's would work with a Pi. Spoiler: they do! This makes a nice, simple, one-line update option for folks if they don't have a Linux desktop machine.
