What should have been a simple kitchen delivery day quickly turned into one of the busiest and most emotional chapters of our renovation journey yet.
From unloading 74 boxes and repairing our trailer, to picking up our very first couch, installing stairs, fixing damaged IKEA drawer fronts, troubleshooting countertops, and working on our water filtration system… this episode truly has everything.
With the help of family, friends, and an incredible kitchen installer, the watermill is finally beginning to feel like a real home. There is still so much left to do before we receive our habitation license, but for the first time ever, we can truly picture life here.
And somehow, in the middle of all the chaos, we also managed to bring home a beautiful green couch that now sits upstairs waiting for the day we finally move in 💚
