The alternative solution to Less secure app access is as below
1. Once you see the error, don’t close outlook just leave the page.
2. Login with the Google Account on a browser
3. click the Security tab.
4. click App Passwords. You may need to sign in. If you don’t have this option, it might be because:
5. 2-Step Verification is not set up for your account.
6. setup 2-Step Verification.
7. At the bottom, choose Select app and choose the app you are using. Select the device and choose the device you’re using. Generate.
8. App Password is the 16-character code in the yellow bar on your device.
9. Copy the password and paste it to your Outlook email configuration
10. You are done!"
