To the Carpathians by car - 1800 km on the road
We're driving to the Carpathians. We spent four days on the road and six days off. We spent the night in Khmelnytskyi and Vinnytsia. Apartments are $15-$30 per night, and hotels start at $30. We traveled through Kryvyi Rih, Kirovohrad, Uman, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Kolomyia. Road overview. The 1,800 km trip consumed 120 liters of gas, or $130.
