RX 9070 XT vs RTX 5070 Ti - Doom: The Dark Ages
In this video we'll benchmark Doom: The Dark Ages with the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT, and Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti. Doom: The Dark Ages has gone live for Premuim Edition owners earlier today, and the Standard version will release on the 15th of May. I am using the GamePass version of the game in this video.
Just a few things to note. Doom The Dark Ages has ray tracing always on. It supports DLSS 4, but not FSR 4, as FSR 4 doesnt yet support Vulkan games.
Also, all benchmarks I've seen so far from multiple outlets have the RT 9070 XT beating the 5070 Ti quite comfortably. The RTX 5070 Ti is about on par with the RTX 4080 Super in other titles, but here the RTX 4080 Super actually beats the RTX 5080 in the early benchmarks released.
