Is the Combine APC Really an APC?
The Combine APC in Half-Life 2 is called an Armored Personnel Carrier… but does it really fit that role?
In real life, APCs carry large squads and use their weapons mostly for defense. The Combine’s version, however, carries far fewer troops and comes armed with a pulse rifle and guided missiles, closer to an Infantry Fighting Vehicle than an APC.
