I've heard and read about this for a long time, but my neighbor connected a light bulb between the neutral and ground terminals, and it worked. It's a regular 12V LED bulb. We used a 12V car incandescent bulb – it also worked. We measured the voltage between neutral and ground – it was about 8 volts. You can increase it even higher with a transformer, but my neighbor said, "Why bother? This is enough for my chicken coop."
