The founder of Toyota, Sakichi Toyoda, constantly used the "five whys" rule. In all unclear situations, he used this method, and it always helped him.
For example, you want a fur coat.
1: Why do I want a fur coat? Because I want to surprise everyone.
2: Why do I want to surprise everyone? Because I want to be noticed.
3: Why do I need to be noticed? Because I feel insecure.
4: Why do I feel insecure? Because I can't realize myself, because I'm sitting in one place.
5: Why can't I realize myself? Because I'm doing something I don't like.
Now tell me, what does a fur coat have to do with it?
You can use this rule constantly in your life, checking the truth of your desires and intentions. What exactly do you want and why?
This rule is also suitable for answering the question: "Why did I end up in this situation?"
It is very important to answer all questions honestly.
Sometimes we think that we want to get married. But if we dig deeper, we can find that we want to be loved and cared for. Or we want children, but in reality we feel lonely and want to plug this hole.
This rule of "five whys" helps us to know ourselves better.
