Welcome, welcome, welcome...
A typical maven project has a POM.XML file
The maven project structure has some key directories and files
Source main java directory holds the java source code for the artifact
Source test java directory holds the java source code for test
Other important files you create are serenity.config file which is added to the src/test/resources directory
Also serenity.properties file in the root of the project where you can add add the webdriver.driver property which will tell serenity which browser to use
And your POM.XML file is key and is used to configure and maintain the dependencies, artifacts, repository and much more for your maven project
