install VCOM drivers. Once you have your VCOM drivers installed, you can now proceed with sp flash tool

just keeps doing the same thing. You're going to be fixing using SP flash tool. After installing VCOM drivers,

launch SP flash tool as Admin to avoid any permission issues. The first thing you'll want to do is format

its very important you do not format unless you have the stock backup (rom / firmware) to flash back to

the phone. You'll understand why I'm saying this in a few minutes. Click on Scatter-loading

go to where the stock backup is, select the scatter file and then scatter file is loaded

To format, you click on Format (tab), leave it on Auto format flash and Format whole flash except bootloader

then you click on Start. Rremove the battery from the phone, slot it back in but don't power on

(just power off if battery is inbuilt) In this state, connect the phone to the PC via USB cord.

SP flash tool v5 could be quite slow. Its very important to be patient and give it time to do its thing

Try not to interrupt else the phone will just go totally dead. After formatting, you'll notice that the phone

is totally dead. No power. You press the power button, the max you might get is a vibration

don't worry, its part of the plan. We're now going to flash the stock backup (firmware) to the phone

If you didn't have the stock backup and you went ahead to format, you're in a fix at this point because

select the scatter file. These are the ones that are ticked. I proceed with flashing. I'll leave it on Download only

It might look like nothing is happening and you'll be tempted to close it and restart but be patient
