When he is attacked by the title character near the Diet Cola mountain, King Candy appears to be genuinely scared and fearing for his life. This is because as he is actually from another game, he can be killed permanently if Ralph were to finish him, and he knows it, foreshadowing the revelation that he is in fact Turbo.
