The Gangs of Manhunt - Manhunt Lore (Every In-Game And Cut Gang In The Manhunt series)
The Manhunt series is one of Rockstar’s darkest creations—a brutal world of killers, conspiracies, psychological horror, and the twisted systems that create monsters. In this full‑series lore breakdown, we explore every major character, gang, faction, and storyline from both Manhunt and Manhunt 2, giving you the complete picture of the franchise from start to finish.
We dive into the story of James Earl Cash, the snuff‑film nightmare orchestrated by Lionel Starkweather, and the violent gangs that rule Carcer City—from The Smileys and The Wardogs to The Innocentz, The Skinz, and Cerberus. Then we move into Manhunt 2, unraveling the psychological descent of Daniel Lamb and Leo Kasper, the horrors of Dixmor Asylum, and the deadly hunters of Cottonmouth, including The Bloodhounds, The Red Kings, The Johns, The Watchdogs, The Legion, and more.
This episode also covers cut content, lost media, unused concepts, and hidden connections between the two games—revealing how Rockstar originally envisioned the Manhunt universe and how its themes evolved across the series.
Whether you’re a longtime fan or discovering the franchise for the first time, this is the definitive Manhunt lore guide—perfect for deep dives, background listening, or falling asleep to the darkest world Rockstar ever created.
