Zoom R8 multi track recorder and sequencer
With the R8, Zoom has attempted a bit of a re-write of what we understand a multi track recorder to be. You record parts, then sequence them. There are no cut/paste options. It's more of a sound arranger rather than a linear recorder. The formula may work for some, especially those who are happy linking up to a computer. Personally I couldn't get used to it. I'll chalk it up as yet another of those machines that got sooooo close to being utterly awesome.
