In this video, we're going to learn how to insert and query documents in MongoDB using MongoDB Compass and its build in MongoDB Shell. MongoDB is a document-oriented database program. MongoDB is a NoSQL database program, MongoDB uses JSON-like documents with optional schemas. Why use MongoDB Compass? It's a GUI... Who doesn't like GUI? The built in MongoDB Shell has some intellisense to an extent. Of course, you can do everything on command line.
